Delivery of your steel building is handled by factory trained personnel. Delivery personnel undergo several weeks of training at the factory before they are allowed to work with deliveries, this ensures that they are very familiar with all of the components required for each building.
Upon delivery the steel building materials are laid out in the order they will be used, this is referred to as "Shaking Out". Columns and roof beams are laid in position for raising. Girts, Purlins, Columns and Braces are divided according to the frame requirements of each bay. Each part is numbered for quick and easy identification. The delivery personnel will check each item against the shipping list to insure that the correct parts and quantities have been received.
Foundation
Foundation design and construction is the first step in the building process. It is essential that the building foundation meet certain design assumptions and load conditions. This will be determined by the building size, style, and location. All building foundations should be designed in accordance with local city, county, and state codes. Many different foundation designs can accommodate our steel frame building including: Monolithic, Pier, Footer and Gradebeam, and Caissions. Certain basic guidelines and considerations for foundation design are outlined on the anchor bolt drawings furnished with each steel building.
